Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
