Nearly 135 days after Russell Martin's initial media briefing as Rangers head coach, successor the German coach met with the media at Rangers' stadium for the first time.
The scale of the challenge facing him is widely recognized, given Martin's turbulent and unsuccessful four-month spell.
The former Wednesday manager was accompanied by chairman Andrew Cavenagh, along with the much-criticized pair of sporting director Thelwell and CEO Stewart.
However, what exactly was revealed from the young German's maiden media outing as Rangers boss?
Rohl's Main Priority - Victory Comes First
A single message came through clearly from the new coach's first appearance in front of the Scottish media - he understands the necessity to secure victories, and achieve this rapidly.
The previous manager Russell Martin lasted only 17 matches and 123 days as manager, so the inquiry arose about how long Rohl believes is realistic to turn around the struggling squad.
Although deftly avoiding a direct answer that could bring later expectations, the coach's communication was quite clear.
"With hope very quickly," he said. "This is essential.
"In football you have limited opportunity. You can discuss long-term vision but we know it's about immediate results and that period is about winning games. That is my requirement.
"One thing is also obvious - I require every squad member to comprehend how we want to play. I return to my primary theme: it's winning, it's attractive and unity. If you follow this order, I believe that I will remain for years at the club."
Expectations are Normal
Martin required security protection to leave the stadium after his final game in charge.
We've seen how toxic environments can turn at sports teams when results decline. Demonstrations have nearly become an expected part of game day experience on both sides of Glasgow these days.
As the club's most youthful ever head coach, the inquiry was posed about what qualities Rohl believes he possesses that would allow him to cope, never mind thrive, in among the highest-pressure roles in UK soccer?
"I think expectations in football are standard," he commented. "You must learn that rapidly.
"I think certain individuals could reference my youth but I have been 16 years on this path. I experienced a great opportunity to be at the German club and be just the assistant manager, but I experienced the reality to be a head coach and the demands involved.
"When you start winning games and then some critics will say you need to produce entertaining soccer. That's the next stage but precisely my intention. I relish that challenge and I look forward for the future."
The Sporting Director Explains Striker Acquisition & Appointing Family Member
There were plenty of questions from the media for Thelwell.
Much discussion has concerned the appointment of Robbie Thelwell as head of recruitment, with supporters unconvinced about his credentials for the role.
Nevertheless, he defended and explained the choice to recruit Thelwell Jnr to the club.
"It's always uncomfortable to listen and in appearance I think everyone understood when we took this decision to hire him that he'd be seen in a particular way," Thelwell stated.
"The reality of circumstances is that we want to attract the very best players to this club.
"My perspective on his professional path and situation is he didn't need family help in soccer.
"He served at Aston Villa as head scout, he then joined Norwich as scouting chief and then got promoted to development role.
"Before we hiring him, two top division teams sought to acquire him. Our approach right at the start of the process was discuss with Patrick, Andrew and deputy chairman Paraag Marathe about this matter.
"I remained highly open and I think Robbie probably experienced a stricter procedure than any other who's employed by the team.
"What I do know is that he'll labor constantly to be successful for Rangers and I'm looking forward to him proving that he'll become a valuable employee for the club."
Additionally, Thelwell supported the acquisition of striker Youssef Chermiti, who arrived at Rangers for an alleged initial fee of eight million pounds, after failing to score in 24 games for his previous club.
The sporting director who transferred the Portugal young international to Liverpool from Sporting - once more for significant money in a fifteen million pound transfer.
The question came if he stands by his multi-million pound signing, who hasn't yet register in seven outings for Rangers.
"Absolutely, completely," Thelwell responded. "I believe the striker represents who's got great ability.
"I've never questioned him whatsoever. Again, I believe Danny will assist in get the best out of the player.
"It's very early days for him, he remains promising prospect and naturally with inexperienced players they occasionally require patience.
"But I'm certain throughout of his time here he'll demonstrate that he's a highly capable player."
Stewart Understands Fan Frustration and Anger
The chief executive was facing firing line, considering the vitriol that has been directed his way by some of the club's own supporters.
Additionally, there was a banner in the Sandy Jardine stand during the recent draw with Dundee United inviting Stewart - and Thelwell - to pack his bags before they were packed for him.
Similar to the football director, the CEO did not evade the topic.
"I completely appreciate the frustration and hurt that the supporters are experiencing because performances recently haven't been good enough and no one is happy with those," he said.
"The hurt and disappointment they feel is matched inside the boardroom.
"Recognize that there must exist a channel for those frustrations and in my role, that's me.
"I'm a focal point for such issues and my responsibility as a
